Imaging Lab Branding

Visual identity system, logo, print collateral and poster campaign for the Imaging Lab – the digital print studios at University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Since every print job is unique, I thought it would be fitting to have a dynamic logo system. I based the logo on the three most commonly ordered sizes of paper: 8.5 x 11, 11 x 17 and 13 x 19. The three ‘pieces’ of paper are overlapped and they may be rearranged, flipped and rotated to create the different variations.

Poster Design Series

Poster series to advertise the services offered by the Imaging Lab at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. The concept is to show what could be made at the Imaging Lab by using their products and services to construct the posters themselves. The result was a set of three constructed scenes that were photographed to create the main poster artwork.

I designed and produced all of the letters using the inkjet printer, laser cutter, laser printer, and vinyl cutter, based on the Imaging Lab identity system. All of the other props either sourced from adjacent rooms or the Imaging Lab itself (e.g.: cardboard from paper deliveries). Using tripods, c-stands and a ton of monofilament wire, each of the three posters were designed, arranged and photographed.
